About our Services

We believe what is written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." For those new to services such as ours, we have provided the following scriptural explanations to help you better understand our services.

Why Do You Lift Your Hands?

Psalm 134:2 "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord."

1 Timothy 2:8 "I will, therefore, that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."

Psalm 63:4 "Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name."

What Are Tongues And What Is the Point Of This Language?

Mark 16:17 "And these signs shall follow them that believe…they shall speak with new tongues."

1 Corinthians 14:2 "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries."

1 Corinthians 14:14-15 "For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also."

Does the Bible Condone Radical Music?

Psalm 150:3-5 "Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals."

2 Samuel 6:14 "Then David danced before the Lord with all his might."

Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."

Why Do You Utter Praises To God Out Loud?

Psalm 47:1 "Oh, clap your hands, all you people! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!"

Psalm 111:1 "Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation."

Psalm 108:3 "I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations."

Why Does The Pastor Ask For People With Certain Ailments To Come To the Front Of The Auditorium?

1 Corinthians 12:4 "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the workings of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kings of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills."

Why Do the Pastors Say, "God Spoke To Me," or, "I heard The Lord Say…?" Does God Really Speak to People?

John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And over sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd."

John 16:13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."
