The Christian Obligation to Reject Public Education

Children are not suited for war. We don't hand them grenades and AK-47s and send them into a temporal blood-bath that could cost them their lives!

What about a spiritual war with consequences far more serious than mere physical death, where ETERNAL death is the great threat? Children are not suited for war for the same reason they are not suited to be thrown into a moral sewer and told to "win their school for Jesus." They are not fully trained and properly equipped for their obligations to the Great Commission until and unless they REACH SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL ADULTHOOD. (And that's only possible in the case that you are an excellent, Bible-obeying parent.)

As a pastor, I absolutely reject the notion that children should be some kind of "pagan school evangelists." I further reject the idea that Christian children should be subjected to the God-dishonoring curriculum of American public schools (much less the moral depravity fomented by the same atheistic approach to the class room). As a father, I will NEVER allow any of my children to attend a godless, atheist-based, biblically disobedient, public-education system inspired by the likes of an evil soul like John Dewey, one of the original 34 signatories of the first Humanist Manifesto (1933) and an honorary member of the Humanist Press Association (1936).

I speak as a man who created an award-winning children's ministry that has evangelized more than ten thousand children since 2001. Evangelizing other people's offspring is not the purpose of either parenting nor education. Children are to be reared in the fear of the Lord, with an education that instructs them in what the Bible says education is designed to accomplish. School was NEVER supposed to be a kid-on-kid mission-field. That idea is a failed paradigm that has destroyed tens of thousands of homes, churches, and eternal lives.

If you want to evangelize children, then I recommend that you work with a local church to accomplish that mission corporately, or consider being an adult school-teacher/mentor, and evangelize from your position of strength as an adult. (Good luck not getting fired, too.)
